One of my favourite minimal shooters returns from his latest travels with a bunch of new work. The above photos are lifted from his Excursus series. See the full set here, and peep the rest of his work on Behance.

Canadian photographer Todd McLellan has a habit of taking things apart and then rearranging them meticulously according to type, size and function. The result is an amazing snapshot of a bygone era. Would love to be able to buy these as prints. Truly mesmerising. Via designbloom.

Macro Kingdom Macro Kingdom

I just found this amazing piece of film and motion graphics on Vimeo by Clemento. It is part of a series of Macro films which really blew me away. The subtle details in the way he animates the type, the beautifully composed and exposed shots combined with a almost effortless timing in the edit make this one of the most interesting pieces of mixed media motion graphics I have seen in a while.

Stumbled across a great series of shots from Parisian photographer Romain Laurent. I believe “Tilt” (dating from 2009) is part of his personal works.
