Hello Mr. Stella is an animated film by London-based designer Anthony Burrill and Paul Plowan in response to ‘Takht-i-Sulayman Variation I‘ by Frank Stella. Music by Acid Washed.

London-born New-Yorker Janette Beckman is famous for her documentary photography, especially in music. She’s documented from UK youth culture; Punks, Mods, Skinheads and Rockabilly to US youth culture; BBoys and NYC Street Style. Featured above is some of her work with US Hip Hop artists, via The Inspiration blog. Plenty more on her JB Rocks portfolio.
This has already been around the blogosphere for a bit but its well deserved of a re-post right here. “The c60 music player from IDEO’s Boston office. The team brought to life a concept from Martin Bone and Kara Johnson’s book, I Miss My Pencil, that brings physicality back to the experience of listening to music.” Please someone take this into production.

5 choice cuts from Mux Mool on this Viking Funeral EP as a prelude to his upcoming LP Skulltaste. Enjoy a bit of Electro-fused Hip-Hop.
