100 Frames is ‘The home of stupid 4 second animated films’. A collaborative project between Animator and Director – Fraser Davidson, Actor and Writer – Dan Jones and Producer – Matthew Harvey.
Applying the moniker – ’100 frames’, there are only a few simple rules to what the content on our site can be. Firstly, each creation must be no more than 100 frames of animation. Secondly, it must be funny. Thirdly and most importantly, it must be artistic and beautiful.
I’ve posted two of my favourites from their current “The A-Z of London” project. See more on their website.

We’re pleased to announce that a small selection of our poster artwork will be on display at the DESIGN 2012 show. We’ve printed a select few from the set in limited edition 1 and 2 colour prints (pics to come). So if you’re in the Old Street/Shoreditch area be sure to drop by the Dreamspace Gallery.
DESIGN 2012 is the next instalment of the annual Dreamspace Gallery open survey of contemporary design practice. The exhibitions represent a wide range of recent design projects emerging from or via the UK and aim to investigate trends running between the design disciplines. This year’s exhibition includes architecture, furniture design, product design, urban design, graphic design, typography and design interactions.

My good friends Rob and Jon at Sawdust have just launched a shiny new website where they’ve painstakingly shot and catalogued all their best work. Go check it out and buy a poster, or typeface. Or better yet, give them some nice projects to work on.

Nottinghill based Two Times Elliot have just opened a little online shop. Amongst some lovely new posters are these three type specimen books. Focusing on the faces Caslon Pro, Knockout and P22 Johnston Underground, they’re all designed and expertly printed in-house. James has also taken the time to hand bind the P22 Johnston Underground and Caslon books with matching orange/red cotton.
Printed in 1 and 2 colours, each book is limited to 10 editions — so you better be quick. Luckily for you if you pop the discount code ‘BTG’ in at checkout you’ll receive 10% off your order.

We started BTG in 2009 and we’ve had loads of fun over the past three years. Tonight is going to be special for a few reasons. 1) The D’angelo show in Brixton. It is sold out, but don’t worry if you didn’t pick up a ticket. We’ll be playing Brown Sugar + Voodoo in their entirety, back to back. If you did get a ticket, come back north with us after the show. 2) Our closest friends will be playing with us for the rest of the night. 3) Its the magic number, yo.
Call Super released a great ep last year called “Staircase.” He has recently remixed Renaissance Man and has forthcoming material on Throne of Blood.
Amit completely smashed it on NYE at secretsundaze. He has been dying to show off his solid garage collection, so I figured this would be the perfect opportunity.
Andy and Kaz run somethinksounds, one of my favourite new labels. Their taste in selection is definitely on a BTG tip and this won’t be the last time we rock a party together this year.

Ill Blu have released an EP on both Hyperdub and Numbers and are gearing up towards their next Hyperdub release. They will smash up the dancefloor just like they smash the airwaves on Rinse. Jonny Dub is the co-founder of Manchester’s Hoya:Hoya. Somehow his rep isn’t as big as his record collection (yet). Count Choc is happy to finally play back to back with one of his favourite people to bump into at warehouse parties, White Tyson.

It has been a while.
But, our next mix comes from one of London’s best kept secrets, Budgie. He is an integral member of the Livin’ Proof collective and spend the rest of his time working at Honest Jons and making tunes. We posted his last mix when it came out and we weren’t the only ones to rave about it. Even though it was a free download, he pressed some up and they sold out almost immediately throughout London’s best record shops.
His mixes are well-crafted excursions into boogie. He always features at least one of his edits in them too – so you know you’re always getting something you haven’t heard before, even if you know some of the tunes. Like most of our other mixes, it is something you can put on at any time.

Kutmah has been tearing shit up since he arrived from LA just about a year ago. Lager has been in the shadows for Various for a long while and recently finished a remix for DJ Shadow. Count Choc has been reading short stories by Khalil Gibran and only recently heard Octavia Butler was worth checking out.

Emily-Jane Robinson is a talented photographer who lives and works in London. She sent us some shots a while ago and they were so great I had to post them. Really love the calibre of submissions we’re getting these days.

Past couple of weeks in LDN have been mad.

The homies from Slothboogie are throwing their birthday party tomorrow eve, and for the special occasion they’ve enlisted a few big guns to the party. For more info click here. They are selling some fresh garments too, this one is my favourite.

Donuts crew from Bristol are also throwing a big party tomorrow. Haven’t seen Joker in ages, I’m sure he kills it each and every.

Finally, the Eglo massive are throwing this epic jam on Saturday. I’ll be at the front or propping up the bar. Going to be amazing, featuring an exclusive PA from Floating Points and Fatima that you won’t see anywhere else, ever. The rest of the lineup is ridiculous too, Alex has really gone all out. He even joined facebook for a week just to push it. Ha!

Self initiated posters by design studio “Edge and Barrett” of Hackney to promote East London. Really like the cleanness, soft colourways and geometricity of these posters. Limited A3 prints available on request.

Metro Daily Paper, Gatwick Express.

Laundromat, Upper Holloway.
