I love this letter press invite card. Firstly I didn’t realise you could do so many different colours and depths with the process and secondly it reminds me of old Real Ale badges.

Tasty Illustrated ampersands from Graphic Designer Dan Beckemeyer of Illinois. Could make some great t-shirts out of these. Lovely stuff.

Exquisitely designed and produced Sparkling Wine packaging from Ukraine-based due Reynolds and Reyner. Elegant typography and design which sits harmoniously between classic and contemporary. Maybe a bit OTT (especially on the second bottle) but that’s what it’s all about, right? A limited collection of 23 sets (bottle and box) and 5 handmade bottles and cocoon containers were produced.

On tinternet travels I came across this stunning looking title sequence for a Brazilian architecture event.

This is an amazing idea if they can pull it off! Getting people all round the world to contribute in a massive video piece! If it works it should really show the voice of the world!!

This web developers stationery set and portfolio really caught my eye, possibly because it isn’t what you’d expect to see coming from a developer what with it being so heavily print influenced. Lovely use of colour and info-graphics to portray his skill sets and a cleaver little single page site. Goes to show what a good designer/developer combo can rustle up.

I just came across these animations describing how satellites work. I think they are great. Kinda Quirky!!

Beautiful furniture doesn’t have to cost the earth. That’s the ethos behind MADE, and I like it. The MADE website connects buyers direct with furniture designers, cutting out the middleman which results in a 50-80% saving on products. I’ve just purchase the above Bubble Table Lamp, this would usually retail at £75, its on MADE for £24.

There is a slight downside, or maybe not, I guess it depends on how you view it – I view it as not. All the products are made to order, which means I’m looking at a turnaround time of this lamp of 10-14 weeks. But when you consider the fact each part is carefully selected, hand crafted and assembled with super quality craftsmanship its well worth the wait.

A few prints from Argentinean illustrator/designer Leandro Castelao. Really nice colour and great attention to detail. I love the way the animals take the form of intricate technical drawings. All the above (and more) are available to buy at the Kemistry Gallery, London.
