Dream-like imagery from Japanese photographer Lieko Shiga

Stunning set of waterscapes by Budapest-based amateur photographer Akos Major. Really sweet minimal composition, full of depth and detail. Its hard to believe water could be so flat, it almost looks as if the lake is frozen.

Özut Kamaci takes beautiful pictures of airplanes interacting with nature. The first three images belong to “Pause”, the last three are from another set, entitled “Landing”.

I love this letter press invite card. Firstly I didn’t realise you could do so many different colours and depths with the process and secondly it reminds me of old Real Ale badges.

Think Act Vote was started because of a frustration about the negative view of politics held by so many people in the UK today, and an ambition to do something about it – to create a community around our relationship with the political system and the choices we make for our future. The campaign was built to inspire us to think more positively about our future and the votes we cast, today, tomorrow and forever. Elections are about making choices for the future.

Think Act Vote is creating an iconic book which will come out towards the end of this year. It is about using creative energy, fusing Design, Fashion, Photography, Art, Poetry, and Sustainability. Anyone can contribute. Why not start by answering the simple question – What’s The Future That You Choose?

I love the character design from this new animated promo by Buck for Nike. Watch the short promo, its really nicely put together.

I think well thought out 2D animations like this are few and far between at the moment with everyone seeming to only be producing shiny 3D pieces, with the all too popular physics engines in the latest batch of 3D software to arrive. Rant over…for now.

Took a bit, but built from scratch.

Incredible piece of film making by the seriously talented surf photographer Mickey Smith. Mickey shoots surfing all around the world and has shot to fame more recently due to the Relentless films Powers of Three and The Lives of Artists. My reliable source Charlie Chambers worked with him on Powers of Three and a few other jobs and says he is a fantastic character and very clever tradesman.

Loving the sound and video style of these guys at the moment. You wouldn’t expect this sound to come out of New Zealand. Check out the other video on vimeo as well. Love the eighties style of production.

I am creating a Ten minute Zombie short with a twist. We need 5 people to play our Zombie’s. We need people that are excited about creating good films and love acting. Unfortunately there is no budget for payment but it will have plenty of exposure as it is a competition piece.
