A very nice chap called Robert that I went to Uni with set up a company in east london a few years back. They make very Pretty things indeedy! They are called Telegramme and they are well worth a look see, espcecially on there shiney new website…

Get yourself down to check out the work of Id-iom. Sholto and Hugo Brown are a couple of quirky and talented artists based in South London. I have know them for some time and the work they produce is provocative and of the moment. Definitely worth an evening out in Clapham.
Id-iom are exhibiting some of their work on Thursday November 26th at Metro in Clapham.
This little gem of a short film was directed by an exciting new director, Fern Berresford. I love the style of the film, with great use of sound to really bring out the emotion and enhance the desperate tension in the piece. What a topic to try and cover as well! Based around gender and power, challenging the notion of women seen as property in the illegal sex trade.
I will be sure to post some more of her work as I am sure this is just the beginning of plenty more edging film making from this lady…. Apparently the graphic design was amazing as well he he :-)
