Was craazy. I didn’t expect so many people to come through. The pics I got weren’t very good, there were insane amounts of paparazzo in the place so hopefully we’ll be able to locate some of the better pics of the night.

That last picture is ridiculous..

Anyways.  I never thought BTG would be about bringing big names through, and to be honest I don’t know if we’ll ever do anything on this tip again, but it was great to know that we could do something like this and have it be a success. Over the past year I’ve somehow forgotten how much I love(d) hiphop. Last friday reminded me why I used to be obsessed with it – I guess it took a Yancey to help me figure that out. I’m posting this song because when it came on during illa’s set the simple bassline and chopped up jazz chords overwhelmed me with nostalgia (also, he said that he almost called the album “Timeless”, not “Yancey Boys” which is interesting). Now I’ve got the album on repeat.

Look forward to next month with JR SEATON (Red Deer Heat) manning the decks. Going to be epic. Expect loads of Chicago House.

c dillo, you’ve done yourself proud here. Website is looking great and your face is amazingly cheesy-chuffed in that last photo. Rock the fuck on.
